Recognition of Academic Qualifications

If you have successfully completed higher or higher education studies in your country and received your degree (university degree, master, or doctorate level), you can have your academic qualifications recognized in Greece through the necessary special procedures.

Competent body for the recognition of university degrees is the National Organization for the Recognition of Academic Titles and Information (DOATAP) .

For degrees of higher or technical education (professional qualifications at IEK level), the competent body is the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP)

For refugees (recognized or asylum seekers), who have completed university or technical studies or attended at least one year of university or technical studies but do not have their degree or related documents, there is also the European Qualifications Passport (EQPR) recognition process. The EQPR process includes a questionnaire about the studies done in the country of origin and an interview. You can find information and do the process here
